OptiMesh® 1500
The OptiMesh® 1500 meshes are designed to contain granular bone graft, autograft (patient’s own) or allograft (bone bank). By containing granular graft materials in an OptiMesh 1500, physicians have the ability to deliver a tightly compacted graft into the spine using minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Features:
- Constructed of strong multi-strand Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) thread
- Deployable for minimally invasive implantation
- Radiolucent for ease of post-op graft imaging
- Strong in tension for graft compaction
- 1500 micron nominal pore size (1.5mm) and high surface porosity enable incorporation of graft
- Thin PET threads and granular pack conform to host bone bed to enable healing and incorporation of graft
- Mesh does not stress shield graft pack
- Supplied on a metal tip to ease intraoperative handling
- Two implant configurations for lateral or anterior/posterior surgical approaches
